Description
A visit to the farrier for new shoes was a regular occurance for working horses. This jigsaw of the farriers shop captures the scene perfectly with the tools laid out for the farriers use. The hens are picking at the crumbs from the dogs dinner and the cat warms himself by the blazing furnace.
